LUNCH MONEY LIFE TELECOMMUNION

London’s Lunch Money Life have dropped a new single that they describe as being about “unrequited love set in a dystopian, technocratic future. Rejected phone-calls and answering machines foster an increasingly delusional internal monologue.” ‘Telecommunion’ an angsty cut that indulges in its warped synth sounds, edgy drum rhythms and curiously auto-tuned lead vocal. The distant toll of bells adds an almost sinister undercurrent. The five-piece compose spontaneously and together as a band, and as such, are able to craft this unique, impressively tight sound. Be sure to keep an eye out for more from them soon. -Dan Peeke.
